Well井 Smart Water Station achieves a 63% carbon footprint reduction compared
to carboys (rigid plastic container commonly used in offices) and an 81% reduction compared to PET bottles.

Below are identified areas where Urban Spring can contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:
UNSDG #4:
Target 4.7: By 2030, ensure that all learners acquire the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development, including, among others, through education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship and appreciation of cultural diversity and of culture’s contribution to sustainable development.
UNSDG #6:
Target 6.3: By 2030, improve water quality by reducing pollution, eliminating dumping and minimizing release of hazardous chemicals and materials, halving the proportion of untreated wastewater and substantially increasing recycling and safe reuse globally.
Target 6.6: By 2020, protect and restore water-related ecosystems, including mountains, forests, wetlands, rivers, aquifers and lakes.
Target 6. b: Support and strengthen the participation of local communities in improving water and sanitation management.
UNSDG #11:
Target 11.6: By 2030, reduce the adverse per capita environmental impact of cities, including by paying special attention to air quality and municipal and other waste management.
UNSDG #12:
Target 12.4: By 2020, achieve the environmentally sound management of chemicals and all wastes throughout their life cycle, in accordance with agreed international frameworks, and significantly reduce their release to air, water and soil in order to minimize their adverse impacts on human health and the environment.
Target 12.5: By 2030, substantially reduce waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse.
Target 12.6: Encourage companies, especially large and transnational companies, to adopt sustainable practices and to integrate sustainability information into their reporting cycle.

Our Commitment
Urban Spring has agreed to support the UN’s Clean Seas campaign by sponsoring the installation of smart water stations Well# and education programs in schools. Educating and enabling the next generation is key to bring lasting changes to reducing consumption of single-use plastic, particularly plastic bottles.
